Passion.

What are you passionate about?

Passion is one of those inherently  indefinable, elusive and shimmering qualities that personifies humanity; yet so many fail to find it. In that sense, I am quite lucky as there are more than a few things immediately make my eyes light up like an incandescent flame.

I want to touch on some of these passions today. Music and my newly acquired Epiphone Les Paul are definately one of these passions, listening to and playing music can be considered one of lifes world-wide delicacies; at least from my point of view. It is the ultimate escape.

Another of my passions lies within the church; worshipping my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Nothing fills me with more hope than seeing souls on fire with passion for Christ. Nothing. 1 John 2:6. Those who claim to live in Christ must walk as Jesus did. That's what gets me PASSIONATE. Jesus has had the single greatest influence on my life by far and I never feel more alive then when his word is coursing through my veins.

Which leads me to striking through one more task off my list.

Last night my church held a Crave Service, which means the youth took over and ran the show! I've previously taken part in our youths camp band, but have never played as a part of the Church band before. It's been on my to-do list for far too long. It has finally been crossed off.

The greatest thing about having a youth-led services means that the band can experiment a little bit, especially by pumping the volume.  It was definitely one of the loudest and tightest services we've had in a while. Don't take my word for it though, listen below!
